DESCRIPTION:Announcing the 2024 Missouri Rally!  \nThe Missouri Rally is intended to be a fun rally for both first time rally riders (we’re trying to be a gateway drug)\, as well as a tough routing exercise that will challenge grizzled IBR vets.  The theme for our 36 hour rally is Manifest Destiny and bonus locations will include sites from the Lewis and Clark Expedition\, Sante Fe Trail\, Mormon Trail\, Trail of Tears\, and other historic trails that make their way across America\, usually through Missouri.  Registration for the Missouri Rally 2024 opens 1/16/2024 on Ridemaster. \nThis will be a “start anywhere” rally – really\, you can start in Key West\, Florida if you want.  You’ll probably not score so well\, but you can start there.  The rally will include bonuses stretching from Utah to Indiana and North Dakota to Oklahoma.  The rally start is 6 am CT Friday September 27 and ending somewhere in Springfield\, Missouri on Saturday September 28 6 pm CT sharp.  No penalty window!  Requirements will include a tracking device of some sort\, a rest bonus (4 hours required with up to 8 hours for extra points)\, helmet\, current moto insurance\, and a signed waiver. \nEntry fee is $200 for 36 hour which includes your rally flag\, shirt\, banquet\, swag and some great memories.  $50 for pillions. DESCRIPTION:The Heart of Texas Rally is photo scavenger hunt on motorcycles.  That is the basic description.  In essence\, it is a combination of problem-solving\, route planning\, but most importantly\, long-distance riding.  For those that have joined the Iron Butt Association and are looking to get involved in events that will help build your riding experience for larger rallies like the Iron Butt Rally and others\, the Heart of Texas Rally is a decent multi-day event which will challenge your route planning and long-distance riding skills. \n​ \nThe Heart of Texas Rally was originated through James Stovall in 2010 as more of a Ride To Eat.  In 2011 he evolved it into more of the LD Rally most of us are familiar with.  James hung his hat up as a rallymaster in 2016 but graciously handed the baton to Paul Tong who has taken the helm since 2017.  \n​ \n​ \nThe past three themes of the rally have been: \n​ \n\n\n2017 – El Camino Real de los Tejas : Rally focused on the numerous pink granite Camino Real markers from east Texas to the Rio Grande marking the ancient Spanish highway through its northern territory. \n\n\n2018 – Six Flags of Texas : Rally focusing on locations with specific history relating to the different countries which have at some point laid claim to territory in Texas. \n\n\n2019 – Grapes of Wrath : A rally focusing on the unique Texas wineries and vineyards which are located throughout the great State of Texas. \n\n\n2020 – ????t

DESCRIPTION:The NIITWIt group (Not In It To Win It) is hosting our third NIITWIt Rally on October 27-28\, 2017.  There is a 36 hour rally (6am Friday Oct 27 – 6pm Saturday Oct 28) and 12 hour rally (6am Saturday Oct 28 – 6pm Saturday Oct 28) (all times Central) which will be an anywhere you want to start and will finish at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shreveport\, LA.  The goal of the NIITWIt Rally is not to win……but rather to come in last place by having the least amount of points at the finish.  The prize is the coveted ‘Last Place’ trophy. \n  \nYou can register for the rally on RideMaster (https://goo.gl/qJzBLV).  Once you register\, we’ll send you the link for the end hotel so you can reserve your room as part of the event block.  Your rally fee includes entrance into the rally\, your rally flag\, a t-shirt\, some swag\, and dinner at the end banquet.  We use an all-electronic format which means that you take all bonus photos with a digital device and then e-mail the photos into rally scoring where you can receive fast approval of your bonus submission which also greatly streamlines the final scoring process to less than 5 minutes.  All rally forms are sent electronically and you will receive your rally book electronically about 2 weeks prior to the rally start.  Rally flags are mailed to you once we receive your signed liability waiver form and other required rally documents.
